"It occurs to me that there may be COFEPOW members who would want
to visit the Public Record Office in Kew to do research on Far East
POWs. I have spent some time there and most of it was trying to locate
the material I needed. I thought it might be helpful to list the files
I identified and read, which could save others a bit of time in their
