Fred was captured at Singapore and interned in Changi and Tarsoa Camps. On return he rejoined the Norfolk Constabulary and served for 30 years.
£248 was donated to COFEPOW in loving memory of Frederick Browne who was the father of COFEPOW member Mrs. Pat Westwood.
Mr Browne and his wife Marjorie were keen supporters of COFEPOW and attended many of our flinctions along with Pat, even though in later months his health was failing.
