He was captured when Singapore fell, then sent to work on the railway, where he became a medical orderly in several camps along the route.
He passed away in 1979 having suffered serious long term health problems relating to injuries received during his time as a POW.
Prior to his death he was involved with FEPOW in the London area and latterly in the North East. |
