A further, more poignant FEPOW commemorative event will be held on Tuesday 17 October to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the completion of the Burma-Siam “Death Railway” which claimed the lives of 16,000 Allied Prisoners of War and 100,000 native workers.
The Museum would wish to extend an invitation to all COFEPOW members and their families to attend our special Remembrance event on Tuesday 17 October which will take the form of a service by the FEPOW Memorial loco SINGAPORE.
The Museum will be open from 10.00am with the special memorial event due to start at 11.30am.
