Friday 12th March 2027 to Tuesday 16th March 2027

COFEPOW has decided to try to put together another weekend reunion, this time in Scarborough. This popular north Yorkshire east coast location retains all the old world charm of an English seaside resort and is perfectly located for COFEPOW members to enjoy a Spring break with old and new friends, over a relaxing few days.
Chris Wills reports on a trial weekend at the Esplanade Hotel to appraise for a possible weekend event...
“The Esplanade Hotel has picture-postcard views, charming Victorian elegance and the warmest of welcomes, and is the perfect place to enjoy a traditional weekend break.
“Overlooking the sweeping sands of the South Bay, it’s the ideal spot to take in the idyllic scenery around this resort. The hotel is situated in a quiet part of the town, with little or no through traffic. There is nightly entertainment in the Belmont Suite, featuring some of the best live acts around the area, including singers, bands and comedians. With such a scope there is always something to entertain you - enjoy a drink from the bar and take a spin around the dance floor!
Sample Menu
The three-course meals are simple, traditional fayre and are well-cooked and substantial. The menu changes on a daily basis and there is usually a roast dinner, with a couple of other options. A typical menu is shown below.
