With many Remembrance Sunday parades cancelled this year to prevent the spread of coronavirus, a different commemoration has been suggested by Yvonne Simons who said that during the height of the pandemic people clapped for NHS and key workers on their doorsteps.
Wouldn't it be great if we could as a nation stand in silence on our doorsteps at the 11th hour on Remembrance Sunday, the 8th November for two minutes and show our respect.
