The country has lost an extraordinary person in the form of Prince Philip.
He dedicated his life to our country beginning with his distinguished career in the Royal Navy during the Second World War followed by his years as the Duke of Edinburgh.
However, he will be remembered most of all for his extraordinary commitment and devotion to The Queen.
He has been at the Queens’ side for seven decades and their marriage has been a symbol of strength, stability and hope as the world around changed.
