Online Reopening of Changi Chapel and Musuem

Invitation to the online reopening of Changi Chapel and Museum on Tuesday 18th May 2021 at 4pm

The time in the UK will be 9.00 a.m.

*Taking place ‘live’ on Changi Chapel and Museum (CCM)’s Facebook and YouTube pages

We will be premiering the opening of the museum on 18 May, 4pm (Singapore time (UTC +08:00)) on the official CCM’s Facebook page and YouTube page.

You will hear from our Guest-of-Honour Mr Edwin Tong, Minister for Culture, Community and Youth; as well as from families of prisoners of war who have contributed to the revamp. There will also be a curator’s highlights tour of the museum, and a tribute to the POWs and civilian internees at Changi prison camp. Details are as follows:

  • This segment pays tribute to the internees of Changi prison camp that includes the sounding of The Last Post on the bugle.
