Return of FEPOWs to Southampton
Commemoration date error
The annual commemoration of the return of the FEPOWs from Singapore will be taking place on Friday 18th November 2022.
Unfortunately, the date given in the October issue of COFEPOW Quarterly was incorrect.
Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused.
The event marks the anniversary of the return of Bob Hucklesby from the Far-East to Southampton.
Bob was the inspiration for this annual event to commemorate the return of all FEPOWs to Southampton in 1945.
