Saturday 15th August marks 75 years since victory over Japan, the moment that finally brought the Second World War to an end. To commemorate this significant anniversary, a special programme will pay tribute to those who fought in the Far East, including a unique remembrance event live from the National Memorial Arboretum in Staffordshire.
Sophie Raworth is joined by Fergal Keane and Dan Snow, with guests including veterans sharing their precious memories. HRH the Prince of Wales will lead the national two-minute silence at 11am.
