The BBC Studios Events team have been in touch as they're currently working on a potential programme for the upcoming 75th anniversary of VJ Day.
They are specifically focusing on the stories and experiences of the Far East POWs and internees.
They are getting in touch with as many people as possible who were either a civilian internee or a military POW during WWII, or the families of those who were, in order to hear their stories.
The BBC are currently very much in the planning stages, but are hoping to be able to film a selection of these stories health & safety and current circumstances allowing.
Therefore, if you, a FEPOW you know, or a family member would be happy to talk about their experiences then please get in touch with our Chairman & Secretary David Brede using the email subject title: 'VJ75 BBC Programme' and send to cofepow.secretary@gmail.com.
